Jillian: Tree Feller?

Jillian practices her chainsaw skills. After watching Dad work on cutting up our downed trees (the power company cut down a dead tree this winter that could have fallen on the power lines - and we get to clean up the mess), Jillian wanted to practice what she learned. The ear protection gave her a "chubby cheeks" look. Maybe it's time to read "The Lorax" to her.

Spring Break Up

Spring is slowly progressing, and our snow is slowly melting. Jillian has been coloring a lot lately, waiting for opportunity to ride her tricycle out of the garage and into a snow-free driveway! Penny the cat is settling in nicely with all of us and seems to be enjoying her new home.

Playing in the Snow

We went up to Turnagain Pass last weekend and played in the snow. No backcountry skiing or snowmachine for us. Just the old trusty sled and a picnic in the snow.
